Testing and validation of satellite modules

Hertz Systems provides testing and validation services for satellite modules. The work is carried out in laboratories located in the Space Technology Park, in particular in the Cryptography and Cyber Threat Prevention Laboratory, which houses a GNSS signal simulator (GSG-8). The simulator can generate all GNSS systems and signals and has up to 8 RF outputs. In addition, CRPA anti-interference antennas (four and seven elements) are also located in the lab. ​

Hertz Systems has already completed projects related to the testing and validation of satellite modules, including the GNSSSW project for the European Space Agency, which developed a GNSS receiver for use on microsatellites and rockets. Hertz Systems was responsible for preparing the methodology and performing the receiver testing. The project was carried out by an international team.​
